Appointment Scheduler:

Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments for our offices in New Bern, Havelock and Jacksonville.  Verifies patient information and demographics. Obtains necessary authorizations for referrals to our office, or for an appointment. Reviews patient portal to ensure all patients appointments have been answered.  Schedules follow-up appointments.

Qualifications or Skill Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year work experience in a health care organization.  Knowledge of medical insurance and claims.  Ability to communicate effectively and possess excellent customer service skills via telephone.

 

Certified Medical Assistant – Part Time:

Hours:
Monday PM (4), Tuesday (8), Thursday (8), Friday PM(4)

Qualifications or Skill Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in medical assisting.  Must be certified.

Responsibilities:
Greets patients with a friendly welcome.  Fulfills patient care responsibilities in a professional manner including checking schedules and organizing patient flow, preparing for exam, collecting patient history. Fulfills clerical duties as assigned, sending and receiving medical records, manages and updates charts, completes forms. Maintains patient confidentiality.  Promotes a healthy and clean clinical work environment.

 

Certified Medical Assistant – PRN:

Qualifications or Skill Required:
