Nick moved to New Bern in 2018 to join the Carolina Orthopedics Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine team. He grew up in Good Hope, IL and has always been involved in athletics and fitness. He had the privilege of playing 3 years of collegiate baseball, specifically playing shortstop and pitching. Nick started his undergraduate studies at John Wood Community College as a pre-engineering major and transferred to Missouri S&T to study mechanical engineering. During his time as an athlete, he became interested in sports medicine and decided to transfer to Illinois State University to pursue his Bachelors in Athletic Training. After working for a year as an Athletic Trainer, he attended Bradley University to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. During his free time, Nick enjoys traveling and exploring with his wife Laura, spending time with his family, volunteering at his church, and participating in sporting activities, specifically baseball. He is particularly passionate about being able to spend time with his patients to personalize their plan and help them to reach their individual goals. Because of his athletic background, Nick also enjoys working with young athletes to improve performance and get them back to playing their sport, whatever it may be.
